Experience a Taste of the
Danforth
The Taste
of the Danforth, which occurs in the middle of August, has
become one of the largest outdoor events in Toronto. This year
it takes place on August 11,12, and 13. Come and experience the
music, sights, smells and of course the food. You don't have to wait until
the festival to experience all the sensations, but make sure you set time aside next summer
when it begins.
The first
Taste of the Danforth was only years ago. It was organized
as an event that could celebrate Greek Culture and their cuisine.
At first, the celebration was small, but because of positive feedback,
it has quickly evolved into a huge street party where all restaurants,
cafes, bars and merchants feature items and dishes at unbeatable
costs.
This year
will be the largest of all. With three band stages
and a mile of endless food, you'll for surely be back
next year.
